Music Review: Entremont the Pianist

I first heard the Piano Suite "Pictures at an Exhibition" when I was two or three years of age. Mr. Entremont was in his prime then. Since then, including playing the piece myself, I've listened to many renditions of this work by Mussorgsky. All are good, but Mr. Entremont's rendition is the cleanest, most lyrical and technical version of all. It must be said that an equally wonderful performance of this same work was rendered by Vladimir Horowitz. The difference is that Horowitz sought to bring symphonic sounds from his Steinways. He usually did. Even Rachmaninoff allowed Horowitz to make changes in his Third Piano Concerto.
Entremont has recorded many works of Rachmaninoff with possible exception of the Third Piano Concerto. I would be grateful for news of such a recording if anyone knows of one.
