Music Review: The way it should be heard!!!!!

first, if you are one of these posters(posers rather) who complained about the lousy sound quality you really shouldn't be listening to old school punk. best you break out your justin timberlake and american idol records if you are so anal and concerned about the way every little sound bit is mixed and equalized. this is the way punk should be heard, raw, and filled with power and rage. and no album captures the true essence of punk then this one. Like danzig said on his live album from AL's bar, "we dont care about making mistakes, if you want that sh#t go see a cockrock band or something."
that said this is an album that begins with a sudden fury, "this is 20 eyes for henry" and is relentless until the end in my favorite and perhaps most romantic??? punk song ever, the live rendition of "we are 138"!! brings a tear to my eye. yes, Danzig was perhaps the most powerful and soulfull singer punk has ever seen in his delieverence in every note he sang, and every emphasis he made. This album screams of both powerful emotionally laced vocals mixed in with angst guitar playing and gave punk pure emotion and heart rather then the empty lines and repetitive riffs of hate sprew that other bands produced in an effort to appear cool.
It may take more then one listen to appreciate every little squeal of the guitar, colorful commentary inbetween by danzig himself, and the feedback and soundquality but once you do you will appreciate old school punk and live recordings that much more. Anyone who has seen this band live will appreciate the raw uninhibited power and sound of this album. For all you people concerned about dolby sound quality and hearing every note crystal clear in a harmonic recording studio, well just stay away and cuddle securely with your falsely sounding pop music.you may be disappointed when your band doesn't sound the same live. truely only recommended for hardcore and oldschool punkers who grew up in this time (35+) other youngesters stick to your american idol and record company slave groups like blink 182 and good charolettes.
