Music Review: Guru Ram Das is Simply Entrancing

I practice a form of yoga called Kundalini and one night at the Ashram during the chanted meditation they played the last cut on this CD, Guru Ram Das. I was blown away. This is one of the most beautiful pieces I've ever heard. Poignant, soulful, sad, inspiring all at once. The song has a different flavor than the rest of the CD, but that doesn't diminish the quality of the other tracks at all. However, I'd buy the CD just for the last track alone.
As other reviewers have indicated, the duo has a unique sound. I'd say that the songs are all woven nicely. Weaving seems to be the best metaphor I can use for what they've accomplished.
