Music Review: Ska Core Gem

You need to know that Medium Rare is the heart warming comeback of any ska fan out there. No, seriously listen to the passion in the latest tracks "This List", "Don't Worry Desmond Dekker", and "The One With the Woes All Over It". You can certainly tell that Dicky missed his spot in the industry. He can still passionably scream what he has to say when wanting to be heard per "This List", and he still has the calm melodic side to him per "Don't Worry" kind of reminiscent to the "Let's Face It" Album. No matter what route these guys take they never let you down. To close, I must say they threw in my all time favorite Tone's song.. "Is It?", that originally was on a single cd for "The Impression That I Get". If you haven't heard "Is It?" You have to hear the passion he puts into it, it makes you live the song.

Self-released digipack comp of rarities, b-sides and the like, plus three new songs! The Mighty Mighty Bosstones are a ska-core band from Boston, Massachusetts. Formed in 1985, the Bosstones are credited with the creation of the ska-core genre, a form of music that mixes elements of third wave ska and hardcore punk. The band released seven full-length albums, three EPs and a live album while touring continuously before their announcement of a hiatus in December 2003. They reunited in 2007 and performed together for the first time in four years at Middle East.
