Music Reviews of Midnight In The Garden Of Good And Evil: Music From And Inspired By The Motion PictureMusic Review: Midnight In The Garden of Evil: Music From And Inspired By The Motion Picturer Rating: 5 Stars
What a wonderful collection of Johnny Mercer's music. Many of my favorite songs, Autumn Leaves, Skylark, Days of Wine and Roses, Laura as well as being sung by fabulous singers such as Rosemary Clooney, Tony Bennett, Diana Krall, Kevin Spacey. This music is truly " Too Marvelous For Words"

If you are a Johnny Mercer fan, this is the album for you. Great performances from people like KD Lang and Rosemary Clooney. It has that mellow mood with a touch of class. Great orchestrations and a quality cound recording. Even though the movie got mixed reviews, this album shouldn't.
Music Review: Best Jazz Vocal Ever and a Good Album Rating: 4 Stars
Alison Krauss's version of "This Time the Dreams on Me" unexpectly sets a new standard for female Jazz vocals. Simplely amazing that Ms. Krauss could blow away this old standard, none of the twang of her usual recordings, just amazing.
Otherwise a nice selction of jazz vocals.

Music Review: The Garden is very good Rating: 4 Stars
I really enjoyed each and every song on this excellent sound track. I've read reviews that panned Clint and his daughter, but I found their versions to be as well done as some of the more notable stars featured on the the CD. Recommend both the movie and the sound track
