Music Review: Great band largely unknown to Americans

As a high school French student, I became introduced to this band through a French exchange student in my class. Before listening to Mickey 3D, I had listened to very little of French rock, and I was pleasantly surprised. Mickey 3D is a great French alt-rock band who has achieved some sucess in Europe but is largely unknown by many Americans. Americans are really missing out, because this band has a great sound and their lyrics are interesting...if you know French, that is. For me, listening to this CD was a great way to practice my French comprehension, but more than that, it's a great CD with more than a few catchy tracks...Matador, Les Mots, Le Tube de l'Eté, and La Chasse à la Vipère are my favorites.
