Music Review: Very different from earlier work; but even better

I knew this album was going to be a change up from "Punk Rock is Dead" and "Return to Earth" beforehand. The word on the street was that "Illusions" would have more acoustic elements and much more complex song structures. It sure does, and it sounds great! Michale really puts his heart into this release and evolves his sound musically into a work of art. A must have for any fan. If you're looking for straight up punk rock, you may be a bit surprised at first. But after a couple listens, you'll be hooked. Some stand out tracks are "Almost Home", "Nothing", "Lucifer I Am" and "When We Were Angels."

All around a great record with many different styles and elements. The updated version of "Dig Up Her Bones" is a gem as well. Played how Michale first imagined it when he wrote it for the Misfits. make sure to grab the sister-single "Arkansas Sessions" from his site [...].
