Music Review: Probably Illegal

This review applies to similarly probably illegal "Twilight" CDs so I have copied this review for those CDs as well.
This CD was in no way authorized by Stephenie Meyer or the folks responsible for the Twilight movies. It is published on demand, meaning someone recorded some music and somehow slipped it past the people at Amazon who should be checking copyrights and trademarks. It's considered against trademark law to imply that an unauthorized product is somehow authorized by the people responsible for the original. While some of the titles of the tracks are generic, others do use phrases like the titles of some of the books and the names of the characters in such a way as to imply that they are from the movies.
On top of this, the sound quality was poor and the packaging was bad. It's pretty obvious that this is not an officially authorized CD much less a professional one by the recording quality. I've created CD cover art on my computer that was of better quality. It's obvious that the title was computer generated and plastered on the inside cover and the back of the CD, and the font for the title tracks is nigh unreadable.
This Michael Silverman might want to consider creating music that stands on its own merits instead of trying to fool fans of a popular series into buying his work.
