Music Review: You won't have to crank the volume knob up this time!

This album is a remastered version of The Ancient Faith album from 1993. The sound fidelity and volume are FAR superior on this remastered album (as one would expect). It is definitely worth a purchase to "upgrade." Plus, you get a brand new song, "Malachi," which is awesome!

I'm puzzled why they would release a 2-disc selective remaster instead of a comprehensive one. Granted, the new song, "Malachi" might bump ONE song off due to the time limitations of CD media, but why were TEN omitted? To be fair, both "How Long" and "So Many Books" were remastered for the compilation album "Joy In The Journey" (1994). But it really would have been nice to have a remastered version of the others listed above.
But these unexplained omissions are not enough to warrant a lesser rating than 5 stars for this remastered album. It's just a warning so you don't have false expectations. But, again, the album sounds SO much better remastered.
