Melanie C has always been the voice of her former group. Here, she proves not only to be the voice but to be the talent and vision as well.
With a new look, she embarks on a pop indie journey that sparkles and shines through entirety. Every song is almost single-worthy.
A great record for a road trip.
The only song that seems out of place is "I want Candy" the cover song for the film of the same name. Not wretched and not sublime the song is decent enough to forget about it... check out the video instead.
All in all, Melanie is the only girl of her former group to have any prospects of real success as a solo artist. She deserves it and proves it, this time.
