Music Review: a very great singer in a diverse program

Mattiwilda Dobbs was one of the greatest singers of the post world war 2 generation. I heard the Town Hall performance of Ariadne with Dobbs singing the most incredible Zerbinetta--It was a voice the likes of which I had never heard-a limpid purity, flawless technique, beautiful color and sheen --a slivery quality. The Ariadne was none other than the magnificent Eileen Farrell. I wish somebody had a recording of this remarkable performance for public distribution. As for this record -it is a precious gem with selections from Rigoletto, other arias and songs. All are impeccably performed. However, this is just a small selection of her vast repetoire--- an invaluable testament to a wonderful artist. Are there more recordings or radio transcriptions of Dobbs in vaults or libraries?
