Music Review: It not the best, but it's good.

This isn't the best Manson album, but it's funny and freaky. If you are a huge fan you'll love it. If you want remixes, get Remix and Repent first, and don't buy this until you're dying for more. His covers are beautifuly done. The album isn't expensive so if you've got some money lying around, buy it. I would not recomend this for someone who is just trying to get into Marilyn. Get Mechanical Animals or Antichrist Superstar first. When you need more Manson, buy this. Some parts will amuse you, some parts will scare you, some parts will make you laugh, and some parts will disgust you. Above all, BUY IT!Music Review: hmmmmm...

as a big Manson fan, you'd think that this would never happen...but I actually hate this album......the only shining moments come in the form off cover songs:
sweet dreams (the song to find an 11 year old fan base yet still not as good as the Eurythmics original version)
i put a spell on you (already on the lost highway soundtrack)
rock n' roll nigger (a decent patti smith cover)
the rest is abomidable. I like this era of manson too, in fact poaaf is my fave album, one of my faves of all time. THIS IS A WASTE OF TIME....besides the cool artwork.

I'm really starting to get p**sed off about the fact that amazon won't add a zero stars option, why, because this stinks! I agree with Jackson, this is awful, rap is 1000000 times better than this crap. Rappers like Tupac have messages that have actually helped people, Manson is a stupid albino who does nothing but whin about hating god, suicide, drugs, oh my god that's so sad, excuse me whilst I wipe a tear from my eye. So its lyrics that are entertaining if your 12 years old shouted over a bunch of loud noises, who the hell would want to listen to that? I sure as crap don't.Music Review: OK, Manson's worst no doubt about that!

If you are going to buy this CD, take warning right now: This cd is all remixes, with 3 cover songs. Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This) is the only cover that's ok to listen to, and most of the remix tunes you immediatley forget as soon as they're over. Buy Potrait Of An American Family instead, if you like the 30 second demos, since most of the remixes (except for Scabs, Guns, and Peanut Butter, made by Twiggy Rameriz a.k.a Jeordie White) are from that CD, however I can't be too harsh on Manson, since he owns the crappy bubble-gum pop records that people call "music"!Music Review: The launch of Marilyn Manson!

If it wasn't for this CD and the cover of "Sweet Dreams" we would of never of heard of Manson. Which would of been fine for some but for the rest of us, thank goodness.
Most of this CD is nothing more but remixed songs off his first album. But let me tell you that they are great remixes and not just crap he threw together.
