The movie left a lot to be desired but the book that it was taken from and the movie soundtrack are both excellent. The soundtrack has a playful exuberance that's truly addictive and I think it captured the mood that the movie failed to elicit.Music Review: and now sophia

having to wait for such a hyped movie was well worth the wait,
but the choice of music was far too modern and i can understand
the juxtaposition of genres i felt that maybe the music came across
as trying to hard.

I liked to dip into my past by hearing some of these tunes which brought me back to high school years. I particularly liked the mix with the classical tunes which were probably show stoppers in their own time.Music Review: Marie Antoinette Rocks

I absolutely loved the movie and the soundtrack is awesome! Each song or piece of music reminds me of parts of the movie and evokes the emotions that were displayed on screen. It certainly has a funk about it.
