Music Review: It serves its purpose well

Even though Graeme Revell served the first Crow movie well, and was the only good thing about the second one, I thought Beltrami was refreshing. The problem with the second flick was that it tried to tie to the first one. Salvation is free from all that, so having a new composer almost seems expected.
Beltrami seems to like reoccuring themes which ties all the tracks together. Some of my favorite melodies are on this CD, ones that when you think of what happens in the movie, are quite moving.
Whether it be the atmospheric soft sounds or the pounding action ones, this will stir up your emotions.
