This is by far the BEST Christmas CD to be released in the last ten years..Mandy Barnett is one of the most gifted singers to come out of Nashville, and it is so very nice to hear her on CD again, after a ten-year abscence.She puts her heart and soul into every song.The liner notes state that she hand-picked these tunes.."This Time Of Year" is outstanding!!The soulful'All I Want For Christmas is you" is just stunning..far more inspiring than Myriah Carey's version!!She sings the intro to"I'll Be Home For Christmas"which makes the song her own...
Run out to get this CD.Mandy sings with her own style,BUT I feel that if Patsy Cline had lived to record a Christmas CD..these are the songs she'd pick!!!Five Stars!!!!
