Music Review: Makaha Sons are good.

I can't think of a more soothing sound than the Makaha Sons. Listening to this CD makes me think about lying on a beach in Hawai'i on a balmy summer day. Just lying there, absorbing the sun's warmth and the ocean's cool breezes... feeling your pulse slow down as the Earth's rotation grinds to a crawl. There's the sound of salt water, the occasional seagull's cry, but mainly just you and the land and the sea.

Description of Kuikawa
Moon, John, and Jerome celebrated their 20th Anniversay together with the release of this album. Of course, Moon, John, and Jerome were also members of the Makaha Sons of Ni'ihau. The group name was changed following IZ Kamakawiwo'ole leaving the group in 1993 shortly after Makaha Bash 3. The album contains both traditional and island contemporary song titles. And you'll find a nice change of pace medley with Spanish Harlem, Spanish Eyes, and Los Dos!International CDs
