It's a winner; worth the fullprice I paid for it - and I don't say that often. It swings. His voice is great. Excellent brass. Lots of soul. Love it. Here's the review from descarga:
Produced with the genius of Diego Gale in Colombia, Regálame Un Noche is a near perfect string of catchy salsa compositions that allows this seasoned singer to show what he's made of. And he does. Maelo gets better and better with each release, and Regálame is a tight ball of radio-ready swing with plenty of hooks.
Not over-produced, Regálame's fine arrangements (by Gale, Orlando Libreros and Rey Arturo González) allow space for each note to articulate. Terrific coro section as well. And when he sings "Otra vez...Maelo Ruiz," you just know it's time to dance.
