MUTA, comprising Rhodri Davies (amplified harp and electronics), Ingar Zach (percussion and sound machines) and Alessandra Rombolá (flutes and tiles installation), began life with two concerts in Norway in September 2003, though previously the musicians have played together in various combinations since 2000. The music on "Yesterday night you were sleeping at my place" was recorded at Propeller studio in Oslo by Kåre Vestrheim two days in march 2006. The CD comprises 7 electro-acoustic compositions, The music varies from lovely brutal noise to spacious calm electronica. MUTA presents here on their debut an impressive spectrum of sounds and forms which adds a great flavour to the existing SOFA-catalogue.Jazz CDs
