Drowning - In Limbo is a CD of spoken word performed by the amazing poetry goddess, Lydia Lunch. Released in 1995, it is still one of the best spoken word/poetry CDs released since. She has help with the twelve tracks from musicians such as Thurston Moore (Sonic Youth) and Lucy Hamilton. The tracks on the CD are beautiful, haunting and disturbing. No one has the talent to pull this new beat style off these days, except possibly the great Henry Rollins. If you like Blues, beat poets, experimental music, or just a beautiful voice, check this one out. My personal favorite track on this collection is the twisted, A Quiet Night of Murder in Greenwich, CT. Of course, they are all equally beautiful Buy it, it's worth every penny.
