Known for penetrating the hearts and souls of young and old with his romantic ballads, Miguel easily slides into the pop groove. He also maintains his slick, romatic-icon status with other selections on the CD.

Complementing Miguel's unique sound is an array of precussional instruments with a "big brass" sound that makes for contagious toe-tapping. Luis also delivers the same heart wrenching, mournful, yet wonderful, yearning on the romantic cuts.

Luis Miguel's longevity and versatility is well proved with "Nada es Igual". He definitely could teach American recording artists a thing or two, afterall, thousands of screaming Spanish-speakers can't be wrong.

Unfortunately Miguel hasn't come out with a cross-over album, gracing English-speaking listeners. That's okay, I don't want to share him with more people than I have too.

As for Miguel's live performances, Nada es igual.
