Music Review: Incredible!

Incredible! The pictures and information was worth every dime. I loved it!The heavens are telling the glory of God, and their expanse declares the work of His hands. Night after night they remind us of just how small we are, and how huge God is. Looking out into the far reaches of the universe, we find a seemingly infinite expanse of mystery and wonder, intricately fashioned by a God of unfathomable size and power. Just a glimpse of one of the billions of visible galaxies He has formed resizes us, shrinking us, and the world we call home, to seeming insignificance in an instant. But as tiny as we may seem, the God who knows every star by name also knows yours and mine. And in the most stunning rescue imaginable, God sent His Son to this spinning planet we call home - the Creator reconnecting us to Himself with life that never ends.
Indescribable takes us on a image-rich journey through the cosmos, allowing us to peer into God's universe to discover the amazing magnitude of His greatness and grace.

In this 2-part DVD Series Louie Giglio takes all of us on a glorious and beautiful ride through the universe. He delivers the message in such a down-to-Earth (pardon the pun) manner about how even though we cannot truly comprehend the size of God's universe even so we are an important part and the creator of the heavens and Earth still knows us by name. Images of the Whirlpool Galaxy and other Hubble Telescope shots are used to glorify God.
Numerous classes and groups I have been a part of have tremendously enjoyed this video. It is especially powerful for youth but is highly recommended for adults as well. All in all THE most powerful video I have seen in the last 5 years. Indescribable, uncontainable, HE placed the stars in the sky and HE knows them by name.

Music Review: Great DVD overall, but Louie should check some of his facts!

I just watched this DVD (loaned from a friend). It was a great DVD to show you how big the universe is, and how little you really are.
The only thing I was somewhat disappointed in were Louie's comments about the star formation in the universe. He has swallowed the secular scientists when they say a new star is born every second. Answers in Genesis, a creation research ministry has another opinion about it. The real facts are that no one has ever noticed a star forming, and it would take an act of God to actually form one since gases want to expand, not contract.
This DVD wasn't like a science course though, it was fully on how BIG our God is, and Louie does a great job of that.

Louie Giglio shows us how big is this God we serve; and more imporant than that, how much He loves us. When we sometimes question whether God really understands what we're going through, whether he cares, and can He do something about it, Louie shows us through science and scripture just how involved God is in our circumstances.
Part of the 3-part series, I encourage everyone to get "Indescribable", "How Great Is Our God", and "Hope". When you know how much God loves you, you never look at your circumstances in the same way again. This series is for every person, regardless of how long they've known God...or if they've avoided Him all their lives.

This is truly an uplifting and inspiring video. I'm sure that you don't HAVE to be a Christian to fully appreciate it - but if you are then be prepared to be humbled and thankful and jubilant!!!! What a God.....this will boggle the mind, truly, any mind! It's not too long and is clear, concise and surprising. Suitable for showing to groups, especially youth groups who get gripped by science... the science complements Christianity ALL THE WAY!!! As it should be! I've seen it twice and it brought me to tears twice! looking forward to a third.... you must get this! Make a great Christmas gift btw if you are at a loose end on that one! =-)
