Music Review: As Long as There's a Lil' Kim People are goping to Hate

Lil' Kim's new CD Notorious K.I.M. shows her musical growth as well as her smooth attempt of targeting a wider audience. Some of her songs don't have the proper production to help her go in the direction she's trying but for the most part this album is tight. She's still hardcore and nasty but she's also more lyrical and versatile on this album. For those who say she still talks nasty on this album... big deal! I don't see anyone critisizing Too $hort for talking about pimping hoes on all 10 of his albums, so whats the difference. Lil' Kim this album is tight and as long as theres going to be a Lil' Kim there are going to be haters. And like your first single says "No matter What People Say..You got it going on..Who cares about what they think..you are the number one" obviously- haters check the billboard!Music Review: The HOP in hip-hop!

The new album from Lil' Kim "NOTORIOUS K.I.M." is the reminder we needed of the music of hip hop. she has the attitude flash of ODB and the club funk of ll cool j. But on this album Kim shows what she's got that nobody else has. PRESENCE. In the track "I'm Human" Kim heats it up and shows everybody that she is in charge. "Little Drummer Boy" is an emimemesque track where she is on trial for murder. Her album is full of 100% pure gangsta rap and it takes about 6 times to listen to the album to intake all the queen kim has to show. This is probably the most hiphop/funk album since LL Cool J's Phenomenom. The first single off the album is a taste of this extaordinary album and you can expect Kim to take her music all the way to the top over and over again.Music Review: The HOP in hip-hop!

After selling a little over 10 million copies of her first CD, "Hardcore", Lil' Kim moved on to bigger and better things. Her newest CD called "Notorious K.I.M." sold a little under 10 million copies. The reason is because the fans were fed up by her music. There were some very sexual and some violent refrences included in this CD. Expecially a lot of swears! Along with a lot more though, I am one of her biggest fans, in some songs I can actually relate to what she has to say. She made 18 blazin' tracks on this hot cd, and to be honest I love all of them. Lil' Kim picifically told cameras that she had mixed rap, hip-hop and R&B to the fans liking. There's no telling if this is the end for the young rapper but one thing's for sure...she will always be with us no matter what.Music Review: She wack

In 1996 Lil kim "hardcore" album change how female m.c.'s are view in the public. This was the first time we heard a female spit XXX rated lyrics. Now it 2000 there are more female m.c.'s now. On this album kim did not improve with her skills.She did not impress me one bit in any song.All I hear is each song "I'm the best, no other (female) m.c.'s is better then me & etc." But in no song does she deliver tight methaphors, punchlines, or creative lyrics 2 show that she the best. Kim needs 2 realize that now we have more female in the game like Rah Digga, Eve, sonja blade, and etc. that display unbelievable skills. Instead of saying your the best prove it. Oh yeah by the way kim if u reading this please it been 3 years let biggie rest in peace.
