Music Review: One of THE best CDs I have ever heard...

There isn't a whole lot a can say about the excellence of this disc. All of it is just simply a masterpiece and the best Less Than Jake album to date. I just can't stop listening to any of the tracks because they all get stuck in your head, sometimes out of nowhere. Here's a short track by track evaluation...1.) Automatic A great track to kick off a cd with. catchy chorus and the horns flow with the guitar extremely well 10/10
2.) Happyman I like the quick spoken lyrics in this one, another fun one to listen to over and over again 10/10
3. 9th at Pine Great horns. simply awesome. the only downside to this song (along with many other LTJ songs) is that it is too short, at only 1:56. Still a great song though, earning a good 10/10
4. Sugar in Your Gastank: Possibly my favorite song on the whole cd. the beginning sounds completely different then how the rest of the song pans out. love it. 10/10
5. Shindo: Not a bad song at all. it doesnt compare to some of the other songs on here but i still think its great. 10/10
6. 107: i really, really can't get this one out of my head. the horns are awesome, once again, and the chorus is almost too catchy for it's own good. 10/10
7. Johnny Quest Thinks Were Sellouts: Another one of the best on this cd. It has kind of a different sound than most of the other songs on here, and the uniqueness of that makes me want to listen to it over and over and over....10/10
8. Krazy Glue: Doesn't seem to be the most popular track on this disc, for some reason. yeah, well, that makes no sense to yours truly cause its a great song, another one of my faves 10/10
9. Never Going Back to Jersey: Speaking of faves, heres another! Aside from the first 27 or so seconds the song is nearly flawless. the verses are great and so is the horn/guitar at the beginning (after the corny part). cant get enough of this..10/10
10. How's My Driving Doug Hastings? too damn short!!! this must be the first time ive heard a downright kickass song that fits in a time period of under a minute and a half...absolutely shocking...yet tasteful 10/10
11. Just Like Frank: nothing compared to the first ten tracks on here. this is probably my least favorite on Losing Streak, just cause it doesnt have the catchiness of all the other tracks. 8/10
12. Ask the Magic 8Ball: not as catchy, once again. I don't want to stick on this track so well just give it's 8/10 and move on...
13. Dopeman: And now we return to the excellent tracks of Losing Streak, ladies and gentleman. The only song of disc with a drum intro and the whole song is just...awesome...one piece of work 10/10
14. Jen Doesn't Like me Anymore: whooooooo love this one. once again, too short yet still excellent. it's a good thing jen doesnt like him anymore or else wed be one more 10/10 song short here. hmmm. maybe she wants to come with me to the...
15. Rock n Roll Pizzeria: why does ltj have to put so many damn good songs on one disc??with such a good variety you can barely finish one song while wanting to skip right to the next and so on. pizzeria probably has the best chorus on here. once again, 10/10
16. Lockdown: and we arrive at the last track on Losing Streak. so sad. not the best closing song in the world, but i can't help but enjoy those kickass horns 9/10
to summarize that review: buy this cd right effing now. youll be happy. trust me.
