All of the reviewers on this page hit the hammer right on the nail as they described this album, so I don't feel that I can say anything different. But I had the pleasure to see these talented ladies at a concert, and let me tell you that they were mindblowing! They are a refreshing break from all of the usual R&B I hear from the radio and I think that it's tragic how underexposed these ladies are!Music Review: Simply Beautifull

I can't top the rave reviews already posted, but I do have a tip for Les Nubians fans: check out the French Carribean vocal trio Zouk Machine. Like Les Nubians, ZM features gorgeous black female vocals sung in French (creole actually, but the effect is much the same to American ears) backed up with a European jazz-influenced Carribean beat. The CD's I recommend are Maldon and Clin D'Oeil.Music Review: Great music--a blend of acid jazz, hip hop & smooth tunes

Les Nubian's Princesse Nubiennes is an excellent CD! I have listened to this cd so many times I cannot count. It's good music to relax to, or even to lift your spirits. Even though most of the songs are in French, it doesn't take one from that country to enjoy these sisters' music. ;o)I would recommend this album to anyone who listens to hiphop, jazz, even pop. I first heard this group on a local radio station about a month ago. . .it took me weeks to figure out the name of the group. The minute I did, I went straight to the store to purchase it. I haven't stopped playing it yet! If you like Soul II Soul, Badu, Zhane, Davina, etc. (you know. . .a nice dinner time, candle and wine groove) purchase this, you will not be disappointed!
