Music Review: Beautiful orchestral arrangements of Denver classics

I found this recording in vinyl form many years ago (I think it was released about 1976) and loved it so much, I had a friend with fancy computer equipment put it on CD for me. I'm now amazed to find out it's available, 'cause I don't recall it to be a big seller.
But the arrangements of Denver classics are wonderful. Indeed, I enjoy this version of "Late Winter, Early Spring" better than the original.
Holdridge knew most of this material well, because he did original orchestral arrangements on Denver albums and I believe he also conducted the orchestra on the 1974 "And Evening With John Denver" live album.
Anyway, if you like Denver's biggest hits, this album is definitely worth buying.
