Music Review: The Fiddle at its Finest

Ever since I started stepdancing, I've been on the prowl for Celtic music. And what a find this is! Actually, I came across their sophmore album Lakefield first, but this one outshines it. There is some nice variety here. While this definitely qualifies as Celtic music, Czardas takes us to Hungary while Alabama is a godd ole' hoedown. And after being carried along by frantically fast fiddling, the closing The Coulin is a slow bittersweet lament.
This album is always a treat to hear, especially when my day needs a pick-me-up.
