Music Review: Great, but not enough songs!

I love Keith Green's passionate music for Christ. It's the most Spirit filled music I've ever heard. But let's face it. This budget priced sampler barely scratches the surface of Keith's catalog. Sure, it's great to hear "To Obey is Better Than Sacrifice, Soften Your Heart, Asleep in the Light, and other vintage Keith tunes. But this brief collection has been surpassed by the recently released Ultimate Collection, complete with remastered sound and a dvd of Keith's life.
After you hear these 70's style piano rock Christian classics, you'll also want to get the magisterial double cd set Ministry Years 1977-1979 and Ministry Years 1980-1982. Having said that, there's nothing quite like listening to the original releases, hearing the songs in the order and way in which Keith wanted them heard. Let us pray that Sparrow will re-release the originals in remastered form.
