Music Review: The final frontiers

I consider this album and Escape to be the two finest Journey ever produced in the studio. I believe with these two works they hit their apex. This album and the former provide an array of hits still popular to this day. Why? Because they were great songs. Journey had a sound that by this album and Escape was so recognizable to even a casual listener and so identifiable to them that it was unique. The naysayers of Journey always argue that they were more pop than rock and that that sound I refer to made everything they recorded sound the same. On other albums they had a better chance with that claim. On these two albums those complaints are useless. Frontiers is a body of work produced by Journey that was never equaled by them again.
