Music Review: The best of this world

All of Jonathan Kreisberg's material is absolutely stunning. The more of it you can acquire the better person you become. He not only has some of the greatest chops and technical skills of any guitarist ever, he has a perfect sense of harmony and his melodic phrasing and instincts are god-like. This album is a great mix of Kreisberg's own original compositions which are beautifully arranged and his interpretation of a few pop, swing and modern jazz classics. His and his bands ability to completely change a standard tune and then play it as if it were easy to do is one of the most appealing sides to this record. The band grooves summertime in 5/4 and in turn teaches you how to feel that time too. The trio is in complete control of their sound and their execution and dynamics are perfect. I love this album and all other Kreisberg works more than life itself, and I sleep with them under my pillow. Buy it.
