Music Review: Balances the Chakras & Brainwaves

A 2005 sound production is said to utilize Synchro-Sound, a technology that balances and aligns both chakras and brainwaves at the same time. This is a single CD package, totaling 55:43 minutes, or almost a full hour. There are 13 tracks and a 16-page booklet. As with all of Jonathan's CDs, he provides a lot of information to explain the purpose of and meanings behind the musical production. Also, as usual with Jonathan, this is a very vibrational CD, long sustained sounds overlaying each other. Many people would not call this music. There are no melodies, per se. This ain't Sinatra. This kind of sound compilation is mainly recognized and appreciated by those involved in energy work and alternative healing modalities. The sounds in this CD were produced with the intention of love and were designed to help assist a person to balance, align, and to attain maximum wellness. This CD is also designed to create harmony either within you individually and/or harmony with a partner. This is NOT something you would play while driving or operating machinery because it could induce a meditative state and you could come to on the "other-side". The insert states that although the CD can be used with speakers, it works better to use earphones to receive the binaural (right/left) effect. For two people, it is best to purchase a splitter and each have a set of earphones. (He even provides the item's catalog number and where to get it.)
The Harmonizer begins at the crown chakra, goes down to the root chakra and works back up to the crown chakra again. Tibetan Bells are sounded for each chakra, to the number of the chakra, so you can consciously focus your intent on that chakra when its music is played. Jonathan explains the chakras (energy centers), how the music works, the Pythagorean Tuning Forks used, the Keynote harmonic vibration of the CD (256 Hz and 8 cycles per second), the Heartbeat Drum (pulsating at a deeply relaxed 48 beats per minute, and a breathing pattern observed in resting infants (pulses of 8 seconds each). Once your listening experience is complete, it is recommended that you sit in the silence to absorb the vibration. (I agree. Many miss that final step There is an awesome peace in the sound of silence that follows these types of recordings.)
Although my favorites are still Goldman's others, such as Holy Harmony, 2012 Ascension, Chakra Chants, this is still very good stuff.
