Music Review: "Sound Healing Vibrational Music"

This album was the album of the year winner in 1999 for visionary music. It is chants and long sustained notes. The chants are so well blended in that it almost sounds like a continual hummmmm. It is one CD, totaling 62:23 minutes or a little over one hour. The 7 tracks run continually, making it perfect for meditation and such.
Anything by Jonathan Goldman is a pretty safe bet that it will be a 5 star minimum in my book. Jonathan is a master at sound healing vibrational music and has continually proven himself with such CDs as "2012 Ascension Harmonics", "The Lost Chord", "Holy Harmony", and many others. This is not what most people call music. It is the vibrational music that is often played during alternative healing modalities such as Reiki, Acupuncture, Meditation, and the like. This CD is chants used to open/heal/balance the 7 major charkas/energy centers of the human body.
Assuming someone reading may not know, the 7 chakras are considered by many to be the major energy points of the human body. As spinning wheels, they keep the energy flowing throughout your body. If any are blocked/out of balance, illness/disease will manifest as a result in the area relating to the blockage (and may eventually affect other areas within the body). Keeping all charkas balanced and spinning properly is thought to keep one healthier, and therefore happier with a better quality of life and a longer life (assuming they don't do something stupid, like jump in front of a truck.)
If you want to know a little more about balancing the charkas, Jonathan includes a 20 page booklet that does a nice job of providing you with beyond basic info to explain what the charkas are, how they resonate, how he created this CD using a system of sacred vowel sounds which are considered to have been divinely inspired in many different traditions. He also added Bija Mantras/Sanscrit letters from the Vedic traditions, and sounds from the Shabd Yoga, included a diatonic major scale (a popular system for resonating with the charkas) and fundamental frequencies that are harmonically related (a natural result of geometric vibrations which are thought to resonate with the Earth frequencies--in other words, bringing your vibration while listening to one that matches your surroundings.)(I have read that this is one reason why you feel so good in an alternative healing session--the "healer" matches his/her vibration to the Earth vibration and then matches your vibration to his/hers. That's one of the reasons you feel so peaceful--like floating on water--so they say. Totally relaxing you should make your body more receptive, then the practitioner seeks to offer you alternative healing.)
As a Reiki provider, I see and feel the impact of vibrational resonance on energy movement and its effect on the recipient of the reiki treatment, so I highly recommend its use for anything from using it for a better nights sleep, to meditation, to alternative healing modalities. Many of you who are reading this review already understand what I am talking about. If you are one who does not understand, or your awareness is just opening, I suggest you give one of Jonathan's CDs a try. If there is the slightest possibility that its use can improve your health, isn't it worth a try?--especially if you are overworked and multitasking your little heart out during the daylight hours for a boss who could never be accused of being touchy-feely. If you just listen to one of these CDs to wind down before bedtime, or to go off to dream land in, there's a good chance it will do more for you than you think. (Hint: Listening once may not do anything for you. We are talking about listening maybe once a day or several times a week to something like this. If you have several, you can switch around.) These are real stressful times for many, just in case you haven't noticed. (Hint #2--Do not listen to this stuff in your car or you may go to "the other side" sooner than is planned for you.)
