Music Review: Johnny Paycheck Live In Missouri

Johnny Paycheck is live in Branson,Missouri,at the Roy Clark celebrity theatre, 1992, a good solid recording for the legendary Paycheck, with voice in good tone, a top-notch band for back up as Paycheck covers all bases,the ol' George Jone's standard,"Ragged But Right", Gary U.S. Bonds',"She's All I Got","Colorado Kool-Aid","In Memory Of A Memory" also featuring the Paycheck original,"Old Violin",a remarkable song that was released on the comeback album,MODERN TIMES, shortly after Paycheck was released from prison. Modern Times is one of the outlaw's better later albums,maybe someday they'll release it on cd. - one problem with this live cd it seems to be shorted three songs,this 2001 cd consist of ten songs where as the Amazon's songlist is listed with thirteen,who knows,this version is a short run of 10 tracks but the sound quality is excellent,(Laser Light,Delta records), good enough for any Johnny Paycheck collection.(the three songs missing are as follows , - Take This Job And Shove It,Slide Off Of Your Satan Sheets,and,Heart Don't Need Eyes To See,probably received the cheaper version.)
