This is by far the best compilation of Cash's works. Probably the most bang for the buck too. Its covers the basics and best works of his career. I mean, obviously for Cash there is no such thing as filler tracks, but this album only includes the highest caliber of songs by Cash. Best investment i ever made =)Music Review: Favorite JC CD!

This is my favorite Johnny Cash CD! It features some of his known classics, like Folsom Prison, Get Rhythm, and Ring of Fire, in addition to some other remakes and covers. Best part...Johnny's cover of Nine Inch Nails' Hurt. It's a powerful song, especially coming from the man in black!Music Review: Great Cash Compilation

I greatly enjoyed the CD, well worth the money. Blends some of his classic stuff with his newer stuff. I highly reccomend the following songs: Walk the Line, Get Rhythm, Rusty Cage, I've Been Everywhere, When the Man Comes around, and Hurt.
All in all a good cd.

This single disc covers a lot of ground - Cash's days at Sun, Columbia and American Recordings. From Cry, Cry, Cry to Hurt, this album gives a roadmap to his long and successful career. The Legend of Johnny Cash does a pretty good job of condensing Johnny's music over his career. Where as it doesn't cover all of my favorites, it is still an amazing compilation of John's work and offers insight to this simple man's wisdom and talent. Please enjoy it.
