Music Review: Don't pass this by! Rating: 5 Stars
"Sometime Tuesday Morning" is quickly becoming one of my favorite discs. A great choice of material, both original and cleverly recast covers, exquisite production, lyrical phrasing & perfect sequencing of songs make this an easy choice for my "best of" list of 2001. It's not just a great GUITAR cd, but a great cd. Beautiful music. Pick it up!
Music Review: fantastic! Rating: 5 Stars
If you like precise, creative, crisp guitar playing, this is the CD for you. Johnny A. demonstrates a virtuosity not often heard. He employs technology only to enhance his playing, not to overpower it, as many others do. This CD should be required listening for all young and would-be guitarists (I had the chance to catch Johnny A.live, and he was phenomenal.).
Music Review: Johnny AAA!!!!! Rating: 5 Stars
I have owned this CD for years now. But recently I think I've been listening to it on a daily basis...It is SOOO GOOOD!!! You simply can not get tired of it. This guy is a really fantastic guitar player...If you are into guitar...if you love this instrument...you'll love Johnny AAA...Yes, AAA!!! As a master guitarist he is A class three times...
Music Review: Most Satisfying Rating: 5 Stars
This is an all-instrumental album containing originals and tasteful - yet exciting! - interpretations. Johnny A is wise enough to allow space for the music to breathe (which is a difficult lesson to learn, judging by the albums of many guitar masters) but pays attention to detail in a most pleasing, musical way. Give this one a listen.
