Music Review: Don't miss it!

A quick tour of the content : Melodramma: someone leaving his beloved Tuscany... this is moving by joining in a same breath Andrea's current way of living, always traveling, and the people who emigrated... Mille Lune Mille Onde shows the love and the sea... I listened to it many times before getting the CD... E sarà a settembre could have been addressed to Enrica, his wife. He really has a fine voice. Chiara makes me dream, absolutely, the suggested description of falling in love in a park... Mascagni is a vibrant homage to the composer and his country... Resta qui is absolutely breathtaking, a man loosing his love... Il Mistero dell'amore is fine too, filled with hope and choruses. Se la gente usuasse il cuore is a "moral lesson", because one has to stay humble, and to remember that we owe much to the others. Si voltò has my favors too, a sweet sadness, bitterness, resignation: two people took separate ways and love is over. L'Abitudine, featuring Helena, leads lonely people to love each other... maybe a bit too idealistic but fine. L'Incontro is almost emblematic of this album too, a dad discovering his newborn. There is all the love of the world here... time stops, time takes its real dimension. E mi manchi tu puts all the sadness of a missing love into long notes... Il Diavolo e l'Angelo is a rock song written by Andrea in the late 80's, and a new music arrangement here is interesting. L'Ultimo Re, closing the album, stays long in memory, like a last call of the singer protecting the listener's dreams. Yes, Andrea is in the kingdom of our hearts forever... It's a breath-taking goodbye...There are many additional bonus songs... L'Incontro which narrative parts by Depardieu (French), Andrea himself (Italian)... On the UK Special Edition: Tornerà la neve... great song (and a video that was already on the internet). And Non Servono Parole that I love too... says that people who love each other do not need words, just music, to understand each other... On the Italian CD E sarà a Settembre is sung in English, entitled Someone like you. There are several songs in Spanish on the Spanish edition... Don't hesitate to buy them :-)
