John has portrayed an extremely mature musical concept of where he wants to take his listener.He first creates a picture frame,then brush to paper,he starts to paint a masterpiece.The story of the song comes alive and surrounds the heart of the listener with symmetry,metaphor,irony,prosody,alliteration and commitment to organized thought,weight and feel.He evokes the listeners senses with"visual writing" that means something. Pick any one of his "Heavier Things" songs "Clarity","New Deep","Home Life","Wheel", or "Daughters" as an example of these traits and superb qualities. Colorful lyrics, as his, are hard to come by, only an exquisite forsight into language accomplishes this.He presents an uncanny knowledge of how to take you on his senses journey. I am a very appreciative listener of everything encountered by John Mayer's artistic ability.I look forward to enjoying his talent for a long time.Happy listener who can't get enough says, thanks , for the review space.
