Music Review: Don't Give Up

1. Thinking...-It took me a while to get past the vocals on this song, but its now one of my favorites. The beginning is awesome.10/10
2. Rockstar- The guitar is cathcy but, this is the only song that hasn't lived up to Jimmy Eat World's lyrical talent. I never really got into this one.6/10
3. Claire- This was one of the only instant hits with me. Its one of the softer songs, but would be considered a 'hard' song on Clarity.9/10
4. Call it in the Air- This song has so much energy and I love it. This is another song that I had on repeat for a solid day.10/10
5. Seventeen- This or #11 would have to be my favorite song. The end is the best when the backround vocals come in during the chorus.12/10
6. Episode 1V- A great slow song, they could almost get away with putting this one on Clarity(but there isn't enough harmony)9/10
7.Digits- This song just explodes at about the 2 and a half minute mark. Its pretty coll but this song doesn't spark me like some of the other ones do.8/10
8.Caveman- This song is really well sung compared to the rest of the album, it is great song, it just doesn't have enough energy to be the standout track.9.5/10
9.World is Static- Wow. some great guitar riffs, and some amazing emotion make this song amazing.10+/10
10.In the Same Room-I haven't really given this song a good enough listen, but it isn't very exciting to me.7/10
11.Robot Factory- The first song I heard from this album, I ran out and found it(finally) right after I heard this song. My favorite track(along with #5)12/10
12.Anderson Mesa- A little too slow for me, but it is such a beautiful song, thats about all I have to say about this one.9/10

If you don't like this album very much at first, just go back to it now and again to see what highlights you can find. It will be one of your favorites in no time.
