Music reviews of Beautiful SoulMusic Review: My anger against this filthy trash... Rating: 1 Stars
How stupid and simple-minded can you be to actually go out and buy an album this bad by a singer that obviously is fake and doesn't know anything about real music. How can you look up to Jesse, consider him as your "Idol" or "Role Model" when he has an incredibly horrible singing voice. How can you possibly call Jesse a musician when he doesn't even play an instrument?
Let me tell you something now, alot of you are complexly ignorant, and don't know what you're talking about when you say that this stuff is good music. You know what I hate about the majority of these pop music singers is the fact that they're always happy about life, or they're always talking about love, ect., ect., and it's getting stupid. I hate how pop musicians or how people who like pop have perfect lives, never go through any rough times, all their lives are complete happiness, and it shows. The majority of people who like this stuff are a bunch of rich preppy teenage girls who live in houses that cost like $280,000 dollars or higher, and they're all a bunch of happy spoiled brats because they've always got what they've wanted and their parents always give them everything they ask for. You might be asking yourself "What does this got to do with Jesse and his music" Well I'll tell you something, the reason why this has to do with his music is because Jesse is alittle brat himself! He got into the music business SO EASILY and his singing just flat out sucks. He sounds like Aaron Carter. Jesse probably never had to go through any hard rough times in his life or had to feel any anger or anything of that sort which is why he's always happy and living life easy all the time, and it's the same reason why everything's always been handed to him (like his fame for example) and anything of that sort.
Another thing, the people who look up to this guy must be completely ignorant. I never had such a good laugh in my whole entire life when I read a few of these 5 star reviews that say something completely stupid like "WOW, Jesse and his music is AWESOME, and it's the best music I ever heard, me and my friend like Jesse too, and this album is great, we don't just like his music, we like him too, this stuff makes me feel all tingly inside, I just love this album" What kind of retarded, simple-minded, half-assed review was that? Immaturity is really showing here! And another thing do you think people actually care about your mentally challenged friend who has absolutely NO TASTE in some real music? My point exactly! If you're going to give this album an overwhelming, over-exaggerating 5 stars, then the VERY LEAST you could do is AT LEAST make your review sound like you've at least passed Elementary School! How can you go out in public and buy this album, that's pretty embarrassing. How can you go home, put it in your stereo, sit there for about a full hour listening to it, then say to yourself "This stuff is good" I mean how can you do that? I don't know about you, but some preppy, pretty-boy crying into the microphone about how much he loves his girlfriend and how much his heart is just burning and aching for love is not my idea of professional talent, or true, amazing professional musicianship. If you have a brain, or even a brain cell, it should tell you to NOT buy this album and avoid it at all costs.
What's the point of girls listening to this sick stuff? Does it make them feel better and good about themselves? Do they feel as if Jesse is a true role model, and an idol, and someone to look up to? If so that is truly sad. It's also sad when you have musicians who are at least half way good at their instruments, playing in the background of Jesse's music but they never get recognized. That's sad, too. Music bands who play with pop artists should quit playing along with talentless hacks like Jesse and form a band on their own and get famous someday on their own.
Another thing pop musicians are a bunch of wiggers! How could you not realize that this whole entire time? I mean think about it, all pop musicians are white but they all try to act black. I mean think about it, they try to act black, dress black, dance like they're black, and sing like they're black, and have heart, passion, and soul like they're black. But the point is, they don't do a good job of it because they aren't black! Jesse isn't good at performing RnB soul music, or whatever. Jesse can't sing whatsoever. I'm sick of these wanna-be-black white boy wimpy preppy pop musicians who try to act like they have so much heart and soul (such as other pop artists like Justin Timberlake) and act like they're cool when they aren't. Jesse is another one of those people who THINKS he's cool, but he's not, and he never was. All he is, is just a HUGE pain in the ass, and that's putting it mildly. Not even NSTINK or Britney Spears was this annoying as Jesse is.
It's sad, people just can't recognize good music these days. You got people who are more talented than this, but they never get their chance. Some of you Jesse fans are so extremely narrow minded, naive, and ignorant that you wouldn't know good music if it were to come up to you and give you a good, hard, quick slap in the face (and speaking of which, some of you deserve a slap in the face, because some of you are pretty annoying.)
Music is supposed to be a form of art, not something where people are in it ONLY for the image, money or fame. Seriously, I dare you to go up to ANY pop singer, give them a book of WRITTEN complicated music (such as musical notes, key signatures, time signatures, and notes like quarter notes, eight notes, sixteenth notes, ect...notes such as A, B, C, D, E, F, G, and then, F#, Ab, Bb, C#, Eb) and ask them to play it on an instrument such as a piano. I bet they wouldn't know what to tell you or wouldn't know how to play it. You see all you need to make it famous these days is have the right support by the right people (such as managers, co-workers, ect) and they do the talent part for you. They figure out and plan out all your dance moves, and write all your lyrics. The singer himself probably doesn't do a damn thing, or doesn't give a crap about the MUSIC, they're just doing it for fame, money, popularity, and girls. And it shows. Why do you think this guy gets played on MTV as much as he does. Hasn't ANYONE ever told you that the only good true musicians out there are the ones that AREN'T being played on MTV or the Radio? That's something you should think about and consider, and explore and get interested into some DIFFERENT music artists. As for Jesse, he's just doing it for the image.
If you're seriously considering buying this album, then you might as well just literally throw your 15 dollars out the window instead....oh wait, maybe you should...because then maybe someone might spot the 15 dollars, put it in his pocket, and actually buy it on an album that's worth buying and worth listening to. Which is something you all should consider doing. But of course none of you would know anything about music other than Britney Spears, Aaron Carter, or Jesse McCartney, you're all too narrow minded and never want to try anything new...you just want to listen to the same old stuff played on MTV. So go ahead, it's not me that's being effected, why should I care. I'm just writing this review because another friend of mine saw this website and decided to write a one star review because this stuff is ticking him off as well, and then said to me that I should put my own common sense on here as well, and I sure am glad that I did. Well I've said enough on here already. This stuff is stupid, pure and simple. It's time to grow up and move on to some other stuff...please.

Description of Beautiful SoulEuropean pressing features the 10 original tracks including the smash hits 'She's No You' and the title track plus the 2 bonus tracks 'Why Is Love So Hard To Find?' & 'The Stupid Things'. Disky. 2005. Jesse McCartney is so pinup-ready, so boy-bandishly appealing in that shaggy-sweet kind of way, that anyone older than 17 will likely be rolling their eyes at him. You know what comes next: they shouldn't. In a classic case of can-that-many-teenage-girls-be-wrong?, McCartney's solo debut sparkles?the danceable tracks call to mind Michael Jackson in his early '80s heydey, the ballads reek of Babyface, and the rest rolls up Hall & Oates, Craig David, and flecks of Usher into a rib-sticking concoction anybody with an ear for pop will want to swallow whole. It's not exactly brain food?the tracks he co-wrote, including standout and opener "She's No You," "What's Your Name," and "That Was Then," are little more than smooth, shiny come-ons telling high school girls what they want to hear. And there's no denying the disc is front-loaded, with the relationshippy stuff starting to wear as track 12 approaches. But despite those things?and despite the name he's made for himself on TV (first on All My Children and more recently on WB's Summerland), which will only add to his early panning among "serious" listeners?Beautiful Soul sets out plenty of reasons to believe that this heartthrob, no matter how long his tousle-haired beauty holds up, has got soul to burn. --Tammy La Gorce
