Music Review: If you love Buckley, you should have this...
Rating: 5 Stars

This is one great album. I always said, "man I want to know what his solo days sounded like before he got the band together to record Grace." This album is exactly that. Any man/woman that can write a song that only has a vocal, 1 electric guitar, and sounds great...is a talented person. If you aren't familiar with Jeff Buckley you might be more interested in "Grace." I know a few people who can't stand to listen to just a man with a guitar play his heart out. They need a "full band." But it is definitely worth the listen.

The description incorrectly lists this an an "audio CD". According to the inventor of the CD, Philips, it is not. This is a broken - "copy protected" - audio disc. If you want this to play properly in your PC, in many car audio players and even some modern hi-fi players, DO NOT BUY THIS DISC. If you want to make a digital copy of this for your own use, DO NOT BUY THIS DISC. Additionally, the fact that the disc is broken is not stated either on this listing or on the case of the product itself.

he is just so amazingly talented and gifted, was.i miss him dearly and listening to this cd puts a smile on your face, hearing him joke around and be himself,i love that this cd is out.he had so much more to show us.he does a great impression of nuzhat fatel ali khan in "yeh jo halka halka saroor",its amazing.i also love "be your husband" doing his own instruments. what can i say?i'm so happy he's still remembered and i love him dearly and always will.true jeff fans MUST get this!

Music Review: Self-Indulgent

As other reviewers have indicated, this is not the place for the casual Jeff Buckley fan. The man obviously had talent, but too often over these two discs he seems to be playing strictly for himself. I am reminded of many nights jamming in a friend's basement where songs would often last ten minutes or more. Sometimes we would be brilliant, most times we were much less than that. While this was fun for us, it made our girlfriends run for the hills. Now I know how they felt.

Music Review: probably my favorite album of all time.
Rating: 5 Stars

this is classic jeff buckley. he's down to earth, humorous, quirky, and unbelievably talented. he combines jazz, pop, folk, rock, a multitude of languages, influences, and styles into something that can only be classified as "unbelievable".

after borrowing this album from a friend, i popped it in my discman, thinking that it would cure some insomnia. i ended up staying up the whole night just to finish it. and yes, it's really that good.
