Music Review: Haunting and Unforgettable

I first heard this album when I was in graduate school over twenty years ago, and I still remember its stunning power the first time I heard it. It still has this deep, evocative resonance. Jean Redpath's rich voice, offset by the cello, and a powerful selection of traditional songs makes this, in my opinion, one of the great traditional music albums of all time.
