Music Review: Try Just a Little Bit Harder....

The first album I bought in my life was Pearl, in 1972 when I was 13, and the first CD I bought was Pearl. Janis is my all time favorite and I think the women rockers of today owe her much gratitude for she is the true original. I can live without the dramatization of Janis's letters home that are read between each song. I don't know that she sounded like that and just don't care. The songs are on other sources so if you're a Janis fan you really don't need this. I just wish they would make a CD of the 'Big Brother and the Holding Co. - featuring Janis Joiplin' album - even if it sounded like the album sounds - so what. At least it is Janis. That letter reader on the other hand....
