Music Review: "Kaczmarek's score falls into the Brilliant catagory"

Composer Jan A.P. Kaczmarek is no stranger to films. Just take a look and see if you don't agree with his past credentials ~ "Empty Cradle" (1993)..."Total Eclipse" (1995)..."Washington Square" (1997)..."Bliss" (1997)..."The Third Miracle" (1999)..."Lost Souls" (2000), of all the scores, "Total Eclipse" and "Bliss" are the outstanding worthwhile soundtracks in my opinion.

Kaczmarek takes his theme for "Unfaithful" to classical heights, arranging the main theme into several variations. Hypnotic vibes come into play, solo piano blends well with featured
vocalist Jorane and Sussan Deyhim on several cues. A highlight touch for me is "TRIANGLE", featuring Frank Marocco (accordion) as themes radiate from textures of colors and tones that bring back memories and events from my own past. Effective stand out is "BURNING PICTURES", a cue that will get under your skin, as The Hollywood Studio Symphony featuring Chet Swiatkowski (piano), Leszek Mozdzer (piano) and Marta Stanislawska (cimbbalion) and strings that swell and sweetly flow into the air with all the emotion that each musician can muster. "TOGETHER", is a cue that could be played at church, blending understated passages that bring inner feelings to the surface. The last track is "SILENCE", vocalizing with sporadic accompaniment sends a lonely and final message, as the listener sums up the composers performance...this my fellow "film-score-buffs" is another keeper from Kaczmarek!
