Music Review: Songs more integrated than Power of One. 3.9 stars

Another album, so quick too. I love Israel as an artist, and a praise and worship leader, thus I collect his albums, so i had to get this even as much as I have been disappointed since A Deeper Level, worse Power of One. His Live albums are surely missed..
My points though.
-Definitely more cohesive than Power of One, but some songs choices dont feel like they are as integrated into the overall message of the album.
- No song really stands out.. Power of One was not so good in my opinion, but it had definite strong songs like Just Wanna Say & Moving Forward. I dont see a definite run away song on this, not to say the album has no hit, because it is really more cohesive than Power of One, but nothing really separates the good songs on this album..Love God Love People & Yahweh are nice and have the potential to be those run away hits though, but hit or no hit, the message is great.
-Sounds like some songs are missing in between tracks, or it is that Iz had alot of songs but just did fit them on. To me it feels like there could be more. He did really well on making the songs flow into each other, and as always there are a good listen, and even more, the words (message) is great, and yes, u can move to the beat. I still feel like there is more to this album; like some hidden tracks that just weren't included
- Hosanna is the My Tribute of this album. like the last album - Power of One- there was no real soulful song until the last track that felt thrown on. the message is good, but I think the attempt at integrating the song could have been worked on. like with the Live albums, there were introductory songs before the great hit worship song, for example. everything that came before Alpha & Omega, on that Live album, was a hit and a nice set up for the stellar - hit Alpha & Omega, there's nothing like that on this album, nor Power of One before it.
Overall, the album was a good listen for me. Wished it had more soulful songs though. He could have used the choir to do a medley but he didn't. It just feels like there was so much more he wanted or could have done with this album. It's a sure a keeper for those Israel followers, but I dont think its a strong enough album for those interested in more soulful songs. Go pick up his first 4 albums if u looking for that (well, the last part or Real, all the Live albums, except the few songs off A Deeper Level ). Forget Power of One and this new album if you looking for that soulful Live experience. Dont get me wrong though, it is a good listen, just not all immaculate as his very very early projects.
Another thing. I dont know why Iz chose to record in England and not go Live but I see that he is having fun as always. On another note, personally,I also think the cover art could have gone another direction. It pulls so much from that Beatles album, and I know its famous but why do the same thing? Then again, people who are familiar with the Beatles may pick up this album just because it looks like that. So I guess it's a marketing strategy.
