Music Review: just beautiful

Thank you Pandora for one more discovery. As an old fart, I don't get out much, NOR do I listen to commercial radio. Along with Leslie Feist, Regina Spektor, and Ingrid, I'm just AMAZED at the numbers of young, female artists worthy of downright awe. This one is just so damn clever, witty, personal, and, above all, pretty. Listening to this makes me smile. Everytime. Of the aforementioned this lady has THE purtiest voice. I've searched out everything she's done and COVET each. Check out Priscilla Ahn, Jaymay, A Fine Frenzy, Laura Gibson, Adele, Lily Allen (prudes need not apply - AND her spiritual and culturopolitical themes are like nothing else) , Missy Higgins, KT Tunstall, Lenka, Kate Nash (again, rated WOH!),and I COULD GO ON. Get out your wallet. Damn you, Pandora.
Description of Be OK
Independent artist Ingrid Michaelson's 2008 release Be Ok, a benefit album that will include previously unreleased songs, demos, covers and live recordings in addition to the title track (produced by Stacy Jones and Bill Lefler - Ronnie Day, Meg & Dia, Plain White T's). A portion of the proceeds will go to Stand Up To Cancer, an organization created to urgently move cancer research forward with the help of the public. She embarks on a national headlining "Be Ok" tour in late October 2008 and she designed a "Be Ok" necklace to be sold at all tour stops and online, donating all proceeds to SU2C.
