Music Review: OK album ... if you don't like to rock

Sorry, folks. If you're looking for real hardcore rock n' roll, you won't find it here. It not only sounds like they recorded this on a portable cassette recorder, but the lead singer sounds like he's on something. If you really want to rock, check out my band called Surrender. What is Surrender, you ask? Well, I'll tell you. Surrender is more than a feeling. Surrender is a way of life. Surrender is what will happen to you when you listen to the power of our rockin'. Our CD is called "Dangerous" which is also appropriate, because when you listen to our music, you will be in danger of rockin' out forever. Don't believe me? Check out our song titles: "Living on the Edge," "We're Heavy," "The Power of Rockin'" As you can see, we mean business and if you don't want to rock, you better bolt your doors and lock up your lady friends. Why, do you ask? Because the fairer sex always "surrenders" to our music fast. Please note that unlike this so-called "Metallic KO" CD, we spent $1000 recording our album using the finest digital technology. That way, you can hear every note very clearly and distinctly. Check us out, if you dare.
(One last thing, if you're in another band, please don't steal our name. We spent a lot of time coming up with it and haven't had it trademarked yet. We had to spend all of our money making flyers and CDs. We'll be trademarking the name once we sell enough CDs to afford a lawyer, so please, be cool).

Digitally remastered reissue of this classic 'live bootleg' from Iggy Pop and his self-destructive Stooges, recorded during the last days of the band (some of the tracks are recorded at their final gig). Metallic K.O.'s intensity has become legendary over the years, making it's mark as one of the great live albums of the Rock 'N' Roll era. At this point, there was no turning back for Iggy and each show went further and further until the band could literally take no more.
