Music Review: Pop have never been better

Iggy Pop new CD is possible his best. Like Leaonard Cohen, Tom Waits et al these old buggers just keep getting better. The French quarter sound and the use of the New Orleans Funeral Band add to the mood and highlight of Pop's now very gruff voice. It's hard to believe this is the same Iggy Pop, that brought you Raw Power, or even Instinct of the late 80's. One of the central themes of his new record involves death, but it is the music itself, that has become uninspired and deathlike.Music Review: Fantastic
