Music Review: The Fun did stop, and we're all Poorer for it.

I was extremely excited to learn that Hunter Thompson created a favorite mix cd...finally, the songs that fueled his ascent to literary greatness in the late 60's and early 70's! There are some inconsistencies and disappointments, as I learned after purchasing the cd...such as an incorrect track listing, a slightly incoherent, cocaine fueled introduction, and a saddening sense that the man couldn't age beyond the year of our great lord, 1975... but the minor snags are the ultimate for any Hunter S. Thompson fan...His favorite music!An inspirational hymnal! Warren Zevon said, "Jesus Marauding Christ! This is the hippest album in the world." He was Right. And so am I. This album is worth it, no matter the cost.
