Music Review: A Must Have!

Hugo Montenegro was if nothing else purely original and NO BODY created the sounds that he did in quite the same way. From movie and TV themes to his "moog" style when applied to popular songs he was quickly distinguishable from other orchestra leaders. I suppose if Henry Mancini had dropped a little acid he would have come close to Hugo...LOL! This is not your average elevator music disc and it is quite a trip from beginning to end. You'll laugh at some of the things you hear and also be very impressed with how inventive Hugo was. The only shortcoming to this disc is that it doesn't have all of the spaghetti western themes included which are among Hugo's most famous tunes. Otherwise this is great stuff and I'd highly recommend it!
