I saw Hot Tuna so many times in the 70's, I can't even recall how many concerts I went to (for a myriad of reasons), and some of those concerts lasted at least six or seven hours. I remember when all of the material on this album was brand new, it was Electric Hot Tuna at their best. The songs lose a bit of something on this CD being recorded in the studio, this would have been much better as a live album, but it's still great today. But I still believe that the best Hot Tuna album was their first one, all acoustic.
