Music Review: The greatest Brazial composer and his fantastic music

After seven years of education in Paris Villa Lobos saw the stylistic parrallels between Bach and certain textures and melody of Brazilian folk music. From 1930 to 1945 he wrote 9 suites for various media. Each of these pieces emphazied the Bach side and the Brazilian style. His music is a mixture of the old and the new,the purity of Bach with the overtone of Brazialian folklore. A fascinating beginning to study the greatest of Brazil's composers.</P>
